Understand
the handoff.

A plain explanation of what this website prepares, what BriefGo stores and what changes when you continue to another service.

This website

Browse the projects.
Control the next step.

The design uses local images, styles and scripts. Its text demo and enquiry-draft controls do not add analytics, external fonts or third-party widgets.

When a website is served by a host, ordinary request information may be processed to deliver and operate it. This can include request URLs, IP addresses, browser information and technical logs.

This explanation describes the public tools on this website. WordPress sign-in, other plugins, hosting services and browsers may have their own data-processing behaviour.

The browser tools

A preview first.
A copy by choice.

BriefGo text demo

The sample service, preferred time and note are used to build a text preview in your browser. The demonstration does not configure a recipient, open WhatsApp or send a message.

Enquiry draft

The name, email, topic and message fields on the contact page prepare a draft in your browser. Preparing or copying the draft does not send it. Choosing Open email app passes the recipient, subject and prepared text through a mailto link to your email application. Your app may save a draft; your browser or device may retain the link. Review and send the message in your email app. When you send it, the email services handling the conversation process the message and sender details.

Clipboard

When you choose a copy button, the page asks the browser to copy the prepared text to the clipboard. You can instead select the preview and use the browser’s normal copy action.

Preparing a draft here does not save the entries to this website’s server, cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Browser features such as autofill, and your email application after the handoff, may behave independently.

The installed plugin

Business settings.
Visitor text.

Configuration in WordPress

BriefGo stores the business recipient number, services and presentation settings in the WordPress briefgo_settings option.

Visitor requests

The request is prepared in the visitor’s browser. BriefGo does not save visitor requests in WordPress, send them to a BriefGo server or add cookies or Web Storage.

Removing the plugin

Deactivation preserves settings. Explicit deletion through WordPress removes BriefGo’s own settings option. The website owner should remove [briefgo] from pages when the plugin is no longer used.

The external handoff

When the visitor
opens WhatsApp.

The installed plugin builds a https://wa.me/NUMBER?text=ENCODED_MESSAGE link. When the visitor opens it, the configured number and prepared message text are passed to WhatsApp in that URL.

This happens before the visitor sends a message in WhatsApp. The prepared text may appear in browser history even if the visitor chooses not to send it.

WhatsApp then handles the conversation under its own terms and privacy policy. BriefGo receives no message-delivery notification.

BriefGo is independent of WhatsApp and Meta.

External destinations

Each service has
its own context.

Links to WordPress.org, WhatsApp, GNU and the SEO product website take you to those services. Their accounts, forms and policies are separate from this site’s text tools.

Coocadev SEO Suite, formerly SEO Next, has its own product downloads, account and support portal. Use its published information for that service.
